In organizations, more and more realization is current, that the most effective way to achieve results, is to form teams in which various disciplines collaborate. Teammembers work together and contribute with a variety of expertise, experiences and know-how. In a team they are performing according to their actual abilities; not to how they do things, but according to what their activities should accomplish.
Teamwork involves different people and different groups across your business working together to maximize their efficiency and reach a common goal. There are many ways of organizing teams – some teams are organized around a particular product that is being developed, while others are organized around a process, such as manufacturing or research.

However, it is a separate task to compose teams and define applicable tasks and goals for them. Team work is the collective effort of each and every team member to achieve their assigned goal. No member can afford to sit back and expect the other member to perform on his behalf. The team members must be committed towards their team as well as their organization to avoid conflicts. Nothing productive comes out of unnecessary conflict and in turn diverts the concentration and focus of the team members. Every member should adopt an adjusting and a flexible attitude. One should consider his team members as a part of his extended family all working together towards a common goal. The team members must be dependent on each other for the best to come out.
The true strength of a team is based on the fact that people play different positions. The strongest organizations have strong people with different talents coming together to tackle problems and create solutions.
